Well, I'm a little worried about this one. I was banded on the same day and have thrown up 12 times! I called my dr and he said it sounded like swelling. I put an ice pack on my belly, stayed on Clear Liquids and seem to be better. I have post op. appt. tomorrow. I threw up last night twice....how do you know the difference between obstruction and swelling? Just wondering! Good luck on that insurance...my dr. office says it takes a year to sort that out. I'm a self pay also!
