linzchavez 0 Posted February 10, 2008 Hi everyone! I got banded on Wednesday...I am so tired, and have been sleeping a lot! My stomach is more tender, and i'm having some discomfort, more so than pain. I'm still having the gas pains. even just typing on the computer is kind of wearing me out. But, I've lost 11 pounds so far, since i started my 10 day pre-op. I'm excited for the future and what is coming, but i'm still really tired now, so i'm gonna cut this short and get some more rest! AppleSmith1226 1 Posted February 10, 2008 I too was banded on the 6th! I am doing much better each day gets easier! I can't wait to be fully healed so that I can workout! I am losing about 2 pounds a day! Hope it keeps up at this rate! Incisions still hurt I thought that I wasn't going to make it through at first but I did! Kat817 19 Posted February 10, 2008 Sorry I did not see the 20 somethings until after clicking! When I found myself extremely fatigued following surgery, I was told it was from lack of Protein. I used the Zero Carb Isopure drinks I bought at GNC...they have like 40 g. of Protein per bottle. They also sell the Protein Shots, look like test tubes---both are clear liquid and fine for the first liquid stage following surgery. Adding the protein made a HUGE difference in how I felt and the energy level. Good luck on your healing, and congrats on your band! Kat
