Trouble eating meat, esp. at night

Recommended Posts

Since banding, even before fills, I am having a heck of a time with meat. I've make sure that it's moist enough, small pieces, chew like crazy, but it just chokes me. I do better at lunch, but forget meat at dinner. Any one else experience this. Suggestions?

What kind of meat are you eating ?

have you tried pork ? Steak is iffy for me , if its a good cut of meat and cooked right i can usually tolerate it. But if its dry nope cant do it.

Also sometimes when you THINK You have chewed enough try chewing another 20 times , That helps me .

I have trouble with meat in general. Doesn't matter which critter it came from. Some days I can get a little down, but most often I'm too tight not matter what I do. And yes, I'm definitely tighter in the evening trying to get it down.

It doesn't matter what kind of meat it is. I can eat some at lunch in very small amounts, but have pretty much given up trying to eat meat at night. It's a good thing there are other sources of Protein.< /p>

Not all the time, but I've noticed that I'm tight at night on the days when I've had high stress. I guess when I tense up, it causes the band to do so as well. Anyway. I've found that a half glass of wine or a warm relaxing drink like peppermint tea makes me chill out enough to handle it. It works for me. It's worth a try.
