I have thyroid disease. My endocrinologist O.K.'d me missinging my meds the one day of the surgery but I needed to be back on the next day. I had to crush it in Water (not suggested) for the first while until I was on solids.

I was on toporal XR for high bloodpressure and heart arythmia, metformin for insulin resistance and lovenox (injections) as a bloodthinner. My surgeon approved them all, actually prescribed the lovenox.

Currently I'm on 0 meds. All I take is my calcuim supplement and multi-Vitamin now.

At the time I was taking Lexapro, Avapro, and Zyrtec. I laid off the Zyrtec (I could deal with Allergies for one day), but the other two were OK'd.

Im' taking oxycontin for a few illness I have. When I have any surgery I always have to meet with the anestatis to make sure he's aware, and knows how much to give me cause I have a high drug tolerance. Anyways my main concern about getting banded is if I end up having to go to mexico (not sure if insurance will cover yet) How safe would I be with this problem? Has anyone had this problem?:tongue2:
