Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies?

Has anyone read the Dummies series book for weight loss? I saw the table of contents and I think I would have liked this book prior to surgery.

I was wondering if anyone has read it and if so, would it have meaningful info for folks who have already had the surgery.

funny you should mention it! i just bought it. i've already read LapBand for Life and another book I loaned to my mom (so she can understand this too). I also picked up K. Ali's book "Fighting Weight."

I heard WLS for Dummies is a great tool!

Yup, I have this book and I've read/re-read it several times already (I'm pre-op, surgery 02/26). It's been immensely helpful before surgery, and I plan on referring back to it often in at least the early post-op time.

I think I'll keep it for the long run, too, so i can re-read the portions on all the bad side-effects of obesity. It will help keep me on track! :confused:
