AirKuhl 1 Posted November 12, 2009 One of my favorite foods when eating out. I can order exactly the right amount of exactly what I want and it's cheap because I eat so little. Typically 2 orders of nigiri and a bowl of miso Soup and I'm good to go, a great, healthy meal for under 10 bucks.

AirKuhl 1 Posted November 16, 2009 Airkuhl, what is nigiri and miso Soup? I never heard of that before. Nigiri is a style of sushi where you have a little rectangle of rice with a piece of fish on top, typically 2 pieces per serving. Miso soup is soup made out of miso, which is a soybean paste. It's served at every sushi place I've ever been to.
tamitoes 0 Posted November 23, 2009 Being half Japanese, one of my most favorite foods is (was) sushi. Since my banding I have not had much luck eating it. It's as if the sticky rice turns into cement on the way down, which of course leads to sliming, foaming and regurgitating. The fish part is fine...but it's not the same without the rice. Everyone is different and I see that quite a few people are able to eat it. Unfortunately, not me
kaninag 35 Posted December 8, 2009 until I got a slight unfil I couldnt eat sushi at all I was so happy to find that this unfill has permitted me to eat sushi again and keep on losing weight! the seaweed does tend to give me some probs still but I like the soy wraps better so its all good. Rachael1284 0 Posted August 24, 2010 I too love sushi....I almost decided against the band so I could still eat it....at least I know I don't have to give it up!! I felt the same way! I knew from the start that i would be able to eat it, so that is something that i will definitely be eating once my doc okays it!
