DancingBelly 0 Posted February 4, 2008 HI all, I just found this board last night. I was going to wait to post until I found out my surgery date but decided to go ahead and join in the group. My insurance approved my surgery on 1/28 but so far no surgery date scheduled. I'm have been tempted to call to see what's going on but have so far resisted. I have already started my pre-op diet per my nutritionist instructions so hope they are able to schedule my surgery in a timely manner. I get one small meal a day and two or more Protein Shakes. So far I have lost a little weight. YEAH!! I am excited to start my journey as I have a lot to lose. ALband 0 Posted February 4, 2008 Welcome! I just found this site yesterday also. I live in Alabama also. I had my lapband done the beginning of August. Good luck with everything.
