See, I'm one of the crazy ones...

I used to have a big sex drive, but I've lost 70ish pounds and it's gone down quite a bit...

To that, friends, I say YARG!

I have always had a huge sex drive...big or small. Being single though, doesn't really help that. LOL I've had a few flings here and there, but nothing that would develop into something serious...which is what I want! I'm too old for these games anymore!

Oh good lord... if my sex drive goes up after losing weight then I'm afraid I may combust.

Thank God for batteries.

I've always said that if after losing weight some guy that knew me when I was bigger tries getting with me it would be a nono because if they weren't into me when I was big then I don't want them. :cursing:

I personally cant wait to see the faces of some of the guys I dated in the past once my transformation is complete! I always said 'dont make fun of the fat girl in school, cuz you never know who she'll turn out to be'! Thankfully I am happily married now though. And hello! I cannot wait to buy trashy lingerie!

I just started working in my home town..people dont recognize me! its so weird..even this teacher who literally hated me during highschool..i finally had the nerve to go say hi to him and he didnt know who i was...jaw kinda dropped when he found out though! hehe

I have noticed an increase in my drive. It seems to increase as I lose more lbs. I do think that a part of it is confidence, but I know for sure that part of it is physical. DH is happy about it.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
