mammabear 0 Posted January 30, 2008 I'm new to this forum. I'm researching and reading to see if the Lab Band procedure would be right for me. I keep seeing Banders refering to something called " PB-ing"? What exactly is that?. Is it something I should worry about as I continue with my "pros and cons" list???:frown:
JaxBandster 11 Posted January 30, 2008 PB = productive burp This tends to happen for a couple of reasons. Either you are eating too fast or not chewing your food well enough. When you are eating you must cut your food up into very small pieces (about the size of an eraser to the size of a dime) and then chew chew chew and chew some more until the food is pulverized in your mouth. Put your fork down between bites, eat slowly. If you follow these guidelines then you will probably not PB. If you do overeat or eat too fast then the pouch rejects what you ate and it comes back up on you (sometimes rather quickly from what I understand). So you want to make sure you follow the rules. If you do, you should be okay.

Blund 0 Posted January 30, 2008 I'm glad you asked this. I was wondering what it meant too. I assumed it meant barfing, but it sounds like its between that and a burp? Something to be avoided I guess. -Barb
