Zoe 6 Posted March 4, 2005 Hi Shamrock, we're just days apart; it's April 5 for me. You have a great attitude -- turning a negative thing (gyn stuff) into a positive one (another argument for having the insurance company pay for your band). Good luck with the med stuff next Monday. claraluz 2 Posted March 5, 2005 Vera, is the fibroid causing you any other problems? Or is it just that you can't get the device? I have a huge fibroid, but I'm told they tend to shrink after menopause. Mine has not really caused me any problems. nancy

SHAZ 0 Posted March 5, 2005 Vera, there are new and innovative ways of dealing with fibroid removal now. A hysterectomy is no longer necessary. And in certain cases, the tummy doesn't need an incision. Do your research, you just might be pleased with what you find out. My best to you!!!

vinesqueen 2 Posted March 5, 2005 I actually went out and got a pregnancy test. I mean, I NEVER miss a period, and here I am, 3 months without one. Turns out I'm not pregnant, just old.
HarleyNana 10 Posted March 5, 2005 Wait until you have that nightmare and you dream you're pregnant, OMG. I usually wake myself, usually in a sweat, love those, and just keep saying to myself, it was only a dream, lol.

Mita 2 Posted March 7, 2005 Good Luck Shamrock hope everything works out. My mother inlaw has so many problems going through the change well she is still going thru the change. It has been over a few yrs when she has her menses she actually has to wear a baby diaper. I will have to read up on the Pre cause I thought it was something that just happened. My mom takes some kind of pill that she says they are pulling off the shelves??? Well another thing to check into cause if it's Patches I will have them all over my body to never feel the way I did that day. Good thing I had clothes on cause when I was running for the door I did not even worry I was in a robe let alone with out anything on.
