Is this normal?

Hi. I had my surgery on 1/4/08 and am scheduled for my first fill on 2/12/08. I have just started my soft food stage before I can go back to regular foods. anyway, is it normal to feel restriction before your first fill? Some days I feel like I can eat everything and anything I want to (mentally) but physically I can not. I have lost 15lbs since surgery. Is that normal? Is it normal to fill restriction before the first fill? Does this mean that when I get a fill I won't be able to eat at all? Just a thought. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Sounds to me like you are still swollen from the surgery. I didn't feel hungry until about 6 weeks out. I'm sure by the time you get your fill, you will be ready for it.

Yes, I agree with Sades. Consider yourself lucky. Some of us starve before that first fill.

Yes, I agree with Sades too. You are still swollen from the surgery. I was like that too.
