Banded in Columbia Missouri

I was banded in March 2007 in Columbia , MO. My results have not been as astonishing as others. Please, post and let me and others know how you have done.

I'm scheduled to be banded in Columbia 2/11 at the Un of Mo. Can you tell me who and which hospital you had yours done?

Just wanted to update you. My surgery went smooth. I'm ready for that 1st fill. I lost 13lbs since surgery. Dr de la Torre did my surgery at the Un of Mo.

I've been walking a couple of miles a day, drinking lots of Water and getting that Protein in.

I had my surgery at DePaul on October 2007. My surgeon was De La Torre.

Hi everyone, I am scheduled to go for the seminar in Springfield on Sept 3. I dont know when my "banding" will be.. I feel like a bird talking like being banded, Im scared stiff. Im 48 yrs old and so wish they did this when I was in my 20's I am morbidy obese, so much so that my arthritis has turned on me, I cant walk, cant do much of anything anymore, I may be scared but Im tired of living like this. My surgery is supposed to be in Columbia. Give me some idea of what I'm in for.. thanks

i'm only two weeks out since being banded and i haven't lost like i think i should but to day i started writing down everything that goes in my mouth. i went to dr. pitt at boone hospital and would do it again even will the slow losing. i walk two times a day for 20 minutes and rest on sunday
