No loss for me this week. I can tell that my restriction is loosening up and I don't get another fill until February 15. My life has been way too hectic for exercise, though I'm on my feet a lot during the day. Time for patience! :party:

On the positive side, I'm really enjoying making veggie/fruit juice nearly every morning. It's tasty and it just feels healthy! :thumbup:

Hollyberries, are you going to the gift show in NY? I've been a few times, reason....long story! but it's a lot of walking if that's where you're going!

I hope I can post at least one pound down since last week, we'll see. Still struggling with no restriction. Next fill appt is Weds. Fingers crossed!

We were in PA. I own a Country Home Decor and gift shop. We head to PA for all the primitive goodies I can get my grubby little hands on. Take a look at my website..I have pictures of the store. Hollyberries Country Gifts I am opening a 2nd store on the 19th of this month. Gotta tell you I am very tired right now as I just got back. Of course I had to check in to catch up on this weeks happenings.

just got weighed and measured today at the gym. it has been a month. lost 10 inches!!

I pretty much stalled this week. I get to see my surgeon on Wed. and get to schedule my first fill! I am proud of myself for making it this long without a fill, but I am definately ready! I am exercising 4-6 times week, so that is really helping me.

Looks like several of us are still waiting for our first level of restriction. The waiting between the fills is cruel, but since some people experience a late kick in of a fill, I guess waiting is prudent.

For those of us not yet with good restriction, we must be getting close for sure.

I had one "stuck" episode, yesterday. My own fault, I was talking while taking the bite (which was small) but I was distracted and didn't chew well enough. Wasn't a bad one and after a few coughs and enzyme tabs, it went down. That was the end of that meal.... and it was only my third bite, that got stuck. Oh well, that was a good calorie day!

EVeryone is doing great on our challenge. Two weeks left! I thought losing one pound a week for me was very realistic as I'm a slow loser, so I am surprised that I have a chance to surpass my goal (not by much, but I'll take it). Maybe I can get into the 180's!!

I finally have some restriction but not enough. However, I get too many stuck episodes. When I'm hungry, I forget to take tiny bites and chew a lot. Wish I was losing faster. I'm getting a bit impatient.

I had a fill on Thursday and the flu over the weekend. The good and the bad. My weight might go up when I start eating meals again. But it was nice to see that 199 pop up on the scale for the first time in 15 years.

Couldn't tell you how overnight that I lost 3lbs. I think between TOM, return from my business trip and depression over the PATS Superbowl loss I lost. I guess a Superbowl loss is good for the band and weightloss. :)

      Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
      1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

        All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

      I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
