Stomach Noise

Does anybody have a lot of stomach noise since banding? I can understand some of the noise from my band opening some burping sometimes, but my stomach and intestines make a lot of noise. It's usually after meals, maybe an hour or so.

Yup - me to. And it's been 1-1/2 years since banding. Not sure why :-)

I have the same stomach noise as you describe!!! I've just assumed its gas.

I have the same problem. Mine occurs mainly at night for some reason.

I was banded 1/23 and have had the same experience...rumbling, LOUD noises. Was at a funeral this afternoon and during a quiet moment of reflection I was petrified that my rumble would be heard throughout the service! :wink2:

Does it go away with time?

LOL...heck, yes. I hear my digestive tract doing ALL of its work. It's really strange because I can feel the gurgle at my left hip bone...a couple of times I wondered if my phone was vibrating. LOL

yep, i get this a lot. i havent worried about it too much. just wrote it off as a side effect of the banding.
