ds0911 0 Posted January 25, 2008 Hi- I started the liquid diet today, which is not great. I am 35 years old, stay at home mom, married, 4 kids. I want to lose about 150 lbs and am excited about the procedure, but of course, a little nervous too. I was at the doctor's office the other day doing my pre-op stuff and there were two women in there who had the surgery and both raved about it :rolleyes2: If anyone is interested in "going through this together" and are having surgery soon, please let me know. marathinner 1 Posted January 25, 2008 DS.. You can come join the Feb bandsters group. There are about 25 of us all getting banded in Feb!! A lot of us (me included) are on our pre-op diets. We're still trying to come up with a group name....but definitely come on over. There is a TON of support and info and great people on this forum!! Best of luck to you in this journey!
