can't band at my bmi

hi, everyone I haven't lost any weight in a while and my doctor told me not to worry, he said at my bmi they wouldn't band me. so I guess I reached that milestone, he has a way to make you feel better. got to get off this plateau, definitely. I don't eat junk food but maybe I should go back on liquids for a while to jump start?

Well congrats on that! When were you banded? What is your fill level? Are you exercising? There are some threads here about busting plateaus-do a search. Also, take measurements! Sometimes when the scale isn't moving, you are still losing inches. 63 pounds is great! Best of luck losing the last 37!

I couldn't tell if your bmi was 33 or 26.5. At 26.5, sorry, you aren't a candidate for banding.

But, at 33 you are. But insurance won't pay for it.

Delo, that's what my DW does to get things moving again. She noticed the difference after a couple of fills. Her doctor wants her to do a week of liquids and a week of mushies. She would drop quite a few pounds doing it that way, so now, when she stalls out, she'll do liquids for a few days and it gets the ball rolling again.
