MissMom24 2 Posted January 22, 2008 Ok...I am almost 7 weeks out. I had a 3.55cc fill, in a 10cc band about 2 weeks ago. I have not lost weight in over a week. In fact I am up 1.5 pounds. I have gone back to LOTS of Protein and Water. I am taking my Vitamins and staying active. I have also tried eating more on one day, less on the next to keep my body guessing. I am hungry, but trying to stay the course. Could I already plateauing??? Or does the weight just stop once you need a fill? I REALLY, REALLY don't want to fail. Jeni 85 0 Posted January 22, 2008 Well in my case(EVERY BANDSTER IS DIFFERENT) if im on a plateau for to long and i have tried looking at my diet and bandster rules... and exercise... then i definitely need a fill (especially since your feeling hungry all the time) Make sure your getting your Protein in as well. But from what it sounds like you probably need a fill... (p.s. i was in the same situation after my first fill i got 3.5cc's as well) :smile:Good Luck N don't get discouraged. You are doing great!
wombat712 2 Posted January 22, 2008 what kind of quantity are you able to eat at one time? I base it on how much I'm eating at once and if I stay full or not till the next meal.
ragdollx19 1 Posted January 22, 2008 I dont think not losing or even gaining in one week is cause for alarm. Some people will not lose for 2-3 weeks and then in one week lose 6 lbs. I know because this happens to me a lot. Also hormones and Water retention can affect it. Everyones body is different and until you give yours time to show some sort of pattern I wouldn't freak out. **Work out** and eat healthy foods and your body will do the rest. Keep an eye on your food intake and fill needs too. In the beginning I went in about every 4-6 weeks for a fill until I got to a point that I can eat enough for nutrition but not enough to say eat a cheeseburger. If you are hungry and you are sure its not head hunger then EAT just eat things that are good for you, solid Proteins are great Snacks because they keep you full longer. And again... work out. Lift weights. Walk. Run. Whatever it is you like to do or can tolerate and DO IT on a consistent basis. You will see a difference!
