Port Infection, Help

The area around my port started to hurt yesterday and today there is a red circle around it, it is still tender and swollen and slightly warm.... Does that sound like an infection? I've had my band since 10/26 and have not had any issues till this, now I'm worried. Do all infected ports end up being removed/ replaced?

There is NO WAY for us to know whats going on over the internet ... you'll have to go to your doctor and have it checked out - the sooner the better. Come back and let us know!
