i saw Dr. Benavides ad in the newspaper, soi have heard of him. I don't think I would ever opt going to another country to get the surgery done. I'll just scrimp and save. If soemthing goes wrong, I have the comfort of knowing my doctor is in town. But boy do I wish they had financing for this stuff!

I was approved for a loan at the first place but they wanted 11% interest and my mom loaned me the money at 9% with no pre payment penalties or late fees!!!! I love mommy!

I also heard (from Dr. Benavides office) that the manufacturer (I think it's BioEnterics) of the lapband is providing financing options as of February 22 of this year. May be worth a phone call about it.
