anonemouse 1 Posted January 20, 2008 I mean, it's GOOD, but I'm still a little pissed. I stayed in Memphis with my brother and SIL for several days before I got this last fill, and of course I had to go shopping (let's just say I spent close to a month's wages on shoes and sheets). Anyway, I found these AWESOME glass rings at Pier 1. One's a really great swirl of several shades of blue and green, gold, and silver. The other is purple with gold in it, making it look sort of like bronze. How long did I get to wear them? ONE WEEK. That's it, just one week. They're too big for the fingers I was wearing them on, and too small for the other fingers. And of course, they're solid glass, so they can't be resized. Damn it. Who knew your fingers could lose weight? Granted, they were maybe $4 each, but I LIKE them. Why couldn't the weight have come off my ass instead? Wheetsin 714 Posted January 20, 2008 Try using a slice of heel gripper or a tension ring sizer to make them wearable on the "right" fingers until they will go on the others.

greeneyez 3 Posted January 21, 2008 Good point Laurend, I hope my glass rings still fit! I got a stack of them. On the other hand, I no longer need to resize my wedding ring!

anonemouse 1 Posted January 21, 2008 All my shoes are too big. I never knew you lose weight in your feet either. I hope mine don't shrink until spring's over. Or at least, if they do, they do it quickly, so that I can return some shoes. I bought a great pair of sandals while I was in Memphis, and I hope I actually get to wear them. I still have the "if it fits and actually looks good, buy it" behavior ingrained.
