TraceySG 0 Posted January 20, 2008 Hi, I am super new (going to an informational meeting in Los Angeles tomorrow) Just wanted to know if anyone has done any of the diet programs after they had their lapband? You know like the ones with weekly weigh-ins and ones that may or may not have you buying food from them. Thanks Tracey G
sfeiner 2 Posted January 20, 2008 I think some people do to a certain extent. It's hard because there are some things we don't tolerate well like chix breast and bread. Also there is the extra expense. I have some nuta-system food I'm trying to finish up. My daughter is on WW (no band) and eats lots of lettuce and raw veggies and they don't set well with me. It's easy to just buy pre made meals like South beach, ww etc.
TulipStar 2 Posted January 21, 2008 I have thought about it, but I think that is just because I am conditioned to be dieting. Since I have been banded I have thought about doing medifast or another weight loss clinic. I also bought the book "fat flush". I am losing weight just fine, so I need to remind myself that I don't have to do fad diets anymore. With the band, it's like a diet, bc there are only certain things I can eat and the portions are wayyy smaller.
