Chelle B 0 Posted January 20, 2008 So I finally woke up early enough to come down to Breakfast. Lots of bread stuff. Muffins and Bagels and donuts. Some icky looking cereals. Waffle makers. English muffins. Next time I will sleep in.
NanaRenan 0 Posted January 20, 2008 They certainly are a CARB-FEST aren't they!?! I've seen a few with eggs -- usually scrambled, but occasionally hard-boiled -- some questionable sausage patties, but not much to offer in the way of healthy Protein. I usually pack some instant breakfast packets and get my low-fat milk from the hotel.
green 6 Posted January 20, 2008 I always go for the eggs. And maybe a bit of bacon if it is crisp and doesn't have much fat. Tomato juice and a gallon of coffee.< /p>
neveragain 9 Posted January 20, 2008 The only decent one I've ever had was the one I had at the Hampton Suites in Boston.
trystelle 3 Posted January 21, 2008 Went to Country Inn and Suites last weekend and among the usual choices they had low fat yogurt, cheese sticks and hard boiled eggs.< /p>
Kat817 19 Posted January 21, 2008 The motel we always stay at when we go for my Dads and my DH's medical check ups, has a similar breakfast...but they always have some yogurt, and some fruit---so I usually opt for that. Most of the time I will take the yogurt to eat for breakfast, and carry off a banana or an apple for snacking later!!! But back in the day---I would have had a bagel with a couple of donuts for dessert!!!! Kat
gadgetlady 4 Posted January 22, 2008 I can't eat breakfast so I always make a Protein Shake. But I send my dh to the breakfast to bring back stuff I can use to make the kids lunch!
Ariel 1 Posted January 23, 2008 I love them! I can usually find yougurt and a nutrigran or some ceral bar. I love loading up my purse for snacks/ meals throughout the day. Free food is great.
transformer 1 Posted January 23, 2008 Chelle--I'm with you on this one! My son and I didn't eat at our hotel at all during our trip over the holidays. The hotels don't want to lose too much money, so they serve more inexpensive carbs rather than spending their "dough" on protein! LOL!
ashabama 1 Posted January 25, 2008 I hear ya on that!! its crazy the stuff they expect people to eat!! I've never been a breakfeast person anyway but pshhh...they need to think of people on diets!! haha
dreamsize8 0 Posted January 25, 2008 I work for the Hilton Brand. Embassy Suites have alot to choose from. And Most hotels that say "Free breakfast" or "Free internet" is not...its included in your room fee. Also the Hilton brands are doing this thing where you can figure out what to eat by color.
