Jammin & Losin 1 Posted February 22, 2005 How much liquid were you able to drink in the first few days after surgery?? My band info book says 100ml every hour in small amounts how much is that in oz??What was your experience?? Okay I've done some bottle checking. I found that 6.75oz is equal to 200ml. That means you should be able to take in a little more than 3 oz in a 1 hour's time. Does this sound about right? I might be over cautious, I just was wanting to make sure I'm getting in enough liquids.
Scotty 0 Posted February 22, 2005 I think 3oz/100ml an hour sounds about right. My book didn't say anyting about amounts but I realised quite quickly that I was feeling very bloated so slowed down considerably. It's a good lesson to learn early on - listen to your body. paula 4 Posted February 22, 2005 hmmm, I never payed attention to how much I would drink in those early days. When I would feel the urge to drink, I would - slowly.
Iluvharleys 15 Posted February 22, 2005 I didn't pay attention to how much either, I just kept sipping all the time.

So I'm glad to know that as long as I sip ..sip.. sip.. I'll do fine. I Just want to do every thing right and I don't think there is a such a thing as being to cautious!! New Hope 37 Posted February 22, 2005 Jamie, those little sips here and there add up. It's very important to get enough fluids in and avoid dehydration.
