georgia girl 35 Posted January 29, 2008 Georgia, I looked for the chicken at Walmart without any luck. Is it with the frozen chicken nuggets, etc???? I am definately back with it. I feel aweful tonight. My stomach hurts, and I am really gassy. So not worth it. Good for you Renewed! Our Wal-Mart here has a closed frozen section with doors and it has an open frozen section down the middle of the main walkway. I found it in the open freezer section with the chicken strips and the frozen turkeys and hams. This was the first time I had ever seen the stuffed chicken so it may be new. georgia girl 35 Posted January 29, 2008 Losing- I used to make this awesome Breakfast casserole with ground sausage, cream cheese and crescent rolls, so I just decided to mix the sausage and cream cheese together and eat it by itself. It was really good, definitely the best sausage I've ever had. I just scramble a tube of ground sausage, drain it, then mix 1 package of cream cheese until blended well. Last night I used 1/2 package of cream cheese to keep carbs down, but it wasn't as good as using a whole one.

renewedhope 4 Posted January 29, 2008 I called this morning to reschedule next weeks appointment with my doctor because my dh will be working late next week. She asked if I can come in this afternoon!!! I am going at 4:20. i hope to be getting another fill!! Will doctors usually give you a fill if you are losing well??? I am losing better, but part of that is just choosing to eat less and eat less carbs. I still think I could use a little more restriction. What has yalls experience been with doctors and fills??? BTW, I am doing good so far today!! Way to go me!!!!
georgia girl 35 Posted January 29, 2008 Renewed, my doctor won't give a fill if I have lost 2lbs a week since my last fill. I know I won't get a fill at my next appt. I've been getting a little hungry at night, but I'm going to try to avoid getting a fill for as long as I can.

georgia girl 35 Posted January 29, 2008 I love luncheon meats, but they don't play nice with my band. I've never PB'ed but I have a really hard time eating them. I love ham and cream cheese roll-ups, but I've been too chicken to try it. Pre-band I would buy pineapple cream cheese and make ham roll-ups :rolleyes2:. Okay, I gotta stop! renewedhope 4 Posted January 29, 2008 So far I can handle lunch meat ok. Georgia, Why do you wait as long as you can before a fill? The reason I ask is because I am a little concerned that I am becoming a fill addict. I don't need a lot more restriction, but I think a little would be helpful. Is there a reason I should wait???? georgia girl 35 Posted January 29, 2008 Renewed I think I was becoming a fill addict. I was trying to find ways to get a fill even though I had lost weight. Other than my recent plateau, I've been pretty consistent at losing. I think I wanted the band to do all the work for me. I guess, for me, I'm just trying to hold off because I've realized I want most of the success to be from me. I love the band and it helps me tremendously, but there could come a time when my band has to be removed. I pray that doesn't happen but I want to be mentally prepared if it does. Maybe I'm not making sense, I dunno. I guess I just don't want to rely solely on my band for the weight loss. I'm going to try to do the very best I can, and when I can't do it on my own anymore, I'll get another fill. If you feel like you need a fill, I think you should get one. Don't let my reasons stop you from doing what you need to do.
losingjusme 12 Posted January 29, 2008 oh dang, ham and pineapple cream cheese? ??? i can DO ham. how many carbs in pineapple cream cheese????? just checked - 1 carb per Tablespoon ... hmmmmmm
renewedhope 4 Posted January 29, 2008 No, that does make sense. My dh and I were talking this morning. He is not sure I need a fill. He says that I don't eat hardly anything as it is. I still can eat more that I would like to be able to. I think I will get a fill today (if she will even give me one) and then go from there. In the beginning I think I did expect my band to do all the work. Man, if only that were the way it worked!!! It has only been since I have begun taking responsibility myself that I have begun to lose. Part of that, however, is due to having better restriction. I feel like I am so close to the restriction that I desire. We'll see what this fill will do!! Thanks so much for your thoughts on fills. It makes perfect sense. I jsut don't think I have ftruly found my sweet spot yet!!
