"The Lap Band Solution" is a good one. Sorry I don't know the author.

I have Eating Well After Weight Loss Surgery by Patt Levine and Michele Bontempo-Saray. It has SOME good information, but is mostly a cookbook with foods for after surgery. It is an OK book, I love to cook, but some of the stuff they suggest - wow, not something I would try.

Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding: Achieving Permanent Weight Loss with Minimally Invasive Surgery by Jessie H Ahroni PhD, ARNP

This is a very basic book on Lap Band. I got it for my DH and children to read (adult children) so that they can be supportive and helpful as I transition to a new way of life. It is written in plain easy to understand language.

i got this one from my library and some of the recepies look ok but it killed me how there were instructions for each thing were "lap band, weeks 1-4: puree". yummm, nothin like a chicken milkshake:smellie:
