MistyDTX 0 Posted January 18, 2008 Yes, 3 months later and I got my first fill. I was very VERY disappointed at my weigh-in. According to my scale at home I was down about 23 pounds but the doctor's scale said I was only down 16! Argh! The appointment took all of 15 minutes and was painless. I went to the mall after though and felt sick to my stomach a little, I think it was from the barium I had to swallow for the fluro. I had Tomato Soup for dinner tonight and it went down just fine. Hope everyone is doing well!
want_so_bad 0 Posted February 7, 2008 dont beat yourself up over the difference in scales! time of day, what you were wearing, the scales themselves. all that can make a difference. try to look positively at it....you are DOWN 23 (16) pounds! better then up that amount, right? keep up the good owrk. bandfan1 0 Posted May 27, 2008 I'm curious to know why it took 3 months before you had your first fill? I had my lap band on May 1st and had my 1st fill today....less than a month later. Initially I had a big loss, but then it halted. I think that this fill will get me going in the right direction again!!
MistyDTX 0 Posted May 27, 2008 You know, its just the way my doctor does it. I don't know why. I was REALLY upset about it but it all worked out. I'm going in today for my 3rd fill!!
