nalabitsy 0 Posted January 21, 2008 Yesterday, I tried my old fav. as a kid Campell's veg. vegetable Soup. I put it in the blender and made it more of a cream soup. It was delicious. I probably ate about 1/4 of a portion, but it felt so good eating "real" food. Only trouble of course with the canned Soups is too salty! I also later on tried a little mashed banana and ricotta. That seemed to work too, though it did make me gassy, well everything makes me gassy!
MoonieGirl 0 Posted January 21, 2008 I am making my shopping list. Please tell me what you ate the first 2 weeks post op. What clear liquides did you have on hand. Thanks Beth Hi there!! My husband and some dear friends of mine that have been giving me some really great insight would be those instant chocolate carnation Breakfast drinks. They have a great form of Protein and they dont tatse chalky!! What I have been told is the best thing you can do for your liquid diet would be to have plenty of protein! Its going to help with the healing process. Remember to sip slowly!
