?'s about financing

Recommended Posts

wait...who offer's 1.9% financing..i missed out on that one. also, capital one offers 0% financing if you pay it off in like 2 or 3 years, but i had to go for 5.

My payments are $345/month for 5 years. That was financing $15,000. So basically a car payment. My son's private school tuition is cheaper..lol.

i've only lost 2 lbs. since surgery, and that $345/month payment hurts.

that it isn't uncommon.

i'm getting more than used to that question.

my doctor hasn't really seemed concerned. he says the weight loss will happen when i find restriction. The 2 lbs that i lost were from my last fill. so..maybe i'm getting there. Also, i had lost 12 lbs, before moving to solids, then i missed one of my fills, so it all came back, then i gained 2 one week. so my overall loss is 2 lbs.

i try not to stress about it. i'm eating less. now i just need to exercise. i don't know what is up with my body.

before I found out ins was gonna cover me, I had financing thru Cosmetic Surgery, Dental Procedures, Vision Costs and more: Healthcare Financing I have horrible credit so my mom cosigned. It askes you on the app if you are applying for someone else & what the patients name is you are applying for. With my bad credit, my APR was 23%, $16000 financed was $565 a month for 5 yrs. Would have been tough, but worth it. Thankfully ins came thru!!

thanks, I'm pretty confident that I will be able to be financed. I just have restrictions on how much I will be able to pay out every month. Thank you for all your experiences! I'm thinking that approx. $175-$200 a month (at $7000, Mexico prices) per your experiences will be something that I can handle! yeah!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
