Sunshine08 0 Posted January 15, 2008 I was given Keflex to take 5 days after my surgery - well, my husband forgot to refrigerate it after day two - so I never finished it. (I was afraid it would not be good anymore) I kind of forgot about it, and it is day 6 and I am still in alot of pain - I wonder if its because I didn't finish antibiotics - I have my post-op later today, so I will ask my doc - just wondering if everyone was given antibiotics, or if anyone has had to deal with any type of infection??:smile: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
destined2befree 0 Posted January 15, 2008 I was given antibiotics in the hospital 2 rounds of them, but none to take at home. I was banded 2 days before you. I feel great and have no pain...other than that nagging shoulder pain every once in a while. i saw the doc yesterday and he said it would go away soon. do you have pain meds? ch4251 0 Posted January 16, 2008 i was banded 01-07-08, and i still ahve pain...and i took my antibiotics for 5 days just as directed....but still pain :mad:...not horrible though...if you dont have any other signs of infection you should be fine....but it wouldn't hurt to tell your dr. what happened, after all it is hubby's fault Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
