ams2436 0 Posted January 15, 2008 I turned my paperwork in the night of the lap band seminar and today (4 weeks later) got a call to set up my bariatric appt with the dietician, nurse, & Pshyciatrist. My appt is next week and I just wondered how soon did most people have their surgery after this step. jrob281 1 Posted January 15, 2008 Great question. I did the same thing you did and just found out last week I was approved for surgery. AUSSIECHIK 0 Posted January 16, 2008 its weird in australia or in my case here in sydney.. i went to my gp got approved there for a referal 1 week later we went to a siminar then a week later a 1 on 1 with the doctor than he gets bloods n all that done and and i was booked in the same day as the 1 on 1.. and due to go in in 3 weeks.. over there u guys seem to have to go thru alot to get it done..
