Free2BMeforLife 0 Posted January 15, 2008 Hi Everybody, I'm Anngie ,I live in Alberta and I am 35 yrs old. I've been lurking around forums for a few months now and finally decide to jump in and say hello. The info here is great and so is the support you give each other. Been fighting with my weight since my early 20's. I was diagnosed with PCOS with insulin resistance last spring. My Dr said at this point WLS was probably my last option. Really happy to learn about the Lap Band, gastric bypas was to scary for me. Not banded yet still reserching DR. any good references for doc's in Mexico?? I'm being banded tomorrow so I will be able to tell you all about it when I am back on here in a couple of days. Good luck with what ever decision you make.
