hford 0 Posted January 13, 2008 I was banded last week - 1/10/08 - and I am doing great - pain is not too bad - feels like when I had my daughter cesarean. Mushies aren't too bad - have had Soups, jello's, Protein Shakes, oatmeal, applesauce, yogurt. my thing that is killing me is that my sweet tooth is going nuts.... is that possible? I am not hungry but I really want something sweet.... is this normal - or is there anything out there any of you can suggest? I am going to make some pudding with protien powder later.... maybe that will help. Thanks for your help! Mrs SmartyPants 0 Posted January 13, 2008 If you're allowed - I have one "pre-made" sugar free Jello pudding cup with a dollop of sugar free cool whip every night for desert .. and it's REALLY good. It totally satisfies my sweet tooth - AND it's like 65 calories all together :welldoneclap:
aprilbene 0 Posted January 14, 2008 Has anyone tried any good sf, ff frozen yogurt?
LovingWhatIs 0 Posted January 14, 2008 I have about a week long sweet-tooth response only after taking narcotics. If you took them for pain, maybe that added to it. I love the fat free pudding for a fix, or ff yougurt with a scoop of Unjury unflavored Protein in it. It makes it creamy, delicious and adds 20 grams of protein! LynneB 0 Posted January 14, 2008 I was just shopping on bariatriceating.com & noticed they have "sweet" stuff that is safe for post bariatric surgery. I know this is just for after you can eat non liquid again, but its something to keep in mind for later.
