mandi78 3 Posted January 11, 2008 I ate some toast for Breakfast yesterday but it was kind of soggy and chewy. I have been nauseated off and on since I ate it and I have not been hungry since but have drank plenty of fluids and ate some cream of chicken Soup yesterday after the toast. Last night, when I laid down, it almost felt like I was going to have heartburn but never really totally did and now it feels like I need to hiccup but can't and like there is just a heavy lump in my chest. Do you think that bread is stuck and just sitting in there in my pouch? That's kind of how it feels. I don't know if that is possible but normally I can feel Water going down first thing in the morning but I can't this morning. I don't really know what I should do. I'm not sliming or anything and it's not painful like when you get stuck....just very annoying and mildly uncomfortable. Thanks.
musicalmomma 1 Posted January 11, 2008 if you've been drinking plenty since eating the toast...you wouldn't still have it stuck. Sometime, after something that was stuck, finally goes through, it can leave the stoma a little irritated and swollen. It'll probably pass in a day or two, with a soft or even mushy diet.
