I had it done on 10/27/07 and have lost 30 lbs so far. It was hard since my 50th Birthday was on 11/14 and I still could not eat solid food, and then there was Thanks Given - I still have hard days when I would like to eat what I call comfort foods!

Dear dirtpuppy,

I got banded on 11-04-07 with Dr. Kuri in Mexico. I was so scared but traveled with a friend. So far I have lost 25 lbs but nothing for the last two weeks. Its time for my first fill. Have you got one yet? KimK

I was banded on 1 November and lost 29 lbs but haven't been doing too well in the last 2 weeks... definitely need more restriction and less head hunger. I have joined the November Nymphs weight loss challenge to lose another 10.7 lbs by 14 February... hope I can get there.

I have had one fill so far - 6 week after my operation. I had it done by Dr Playa in Glendale, CA - I was told to come back in 2 1/2 months. I also have had periods were I do not lose anything, but then a couple of pounds will come off.

Right now my exercise routine has been walking - I did get a treadmill and that helps.
