I'm doing OK Cerrin . . . have an appointment for "possible" fill on Thursday . . . but knowing Dr. Stingy . . . we joke because he doesn't give fills often to anyone in our group . . . we shall see. I'm feeling slow and steady - not as dramatic as some . . . but it's still moving downward. Yea!

Well that is good at least your still moving down...mine has stalled. grrr

BUT my dr is super agressive with fills. He kinda leaves it up to us if we feel we need a fill. then when he does give it your filled just below too restricted. Which I love.

I feel that because he does his that way I will hit my sweet spot quicker then with any other dr. I hope that is the case.

So have you had any fills?

The nutritionist I go to told me to eat till I am full. and dont go hungry. Because that is when I get into trouble.

And I have the 10cc band and I have had 2 fills and have 8.5cc in mine. and I can still eat more then I should be able to. I cant wait to get closer to my sweet spot.

My non scale victories:

-lost 21 inches top to bottom in measuring the main areas

-have hated exercise my whole life but am actually enjoying it now (not the sweating or effort- but I do like the way it makes me feel!)

-exercising 6 days per week & enjoying my day off from it

-making healthy food choices at meals

-getting back into my eddie bauer jeans

-I kept all my thinner clothes (I had lost 150 pounds about 8 years ago) & every month I go through the boxes of clothes & find cute clothes that fit in smaller sizes :smile2:

Banded 12/20/07

Highest: 313

Presurg: 303

Current: 254

so.... today was a very nice NSV for me

After 3 weeks of going to gym everyday but weekends... I hit the 3 Mile mark at 42 1/2 min.... I'm one of those lazy bums that dont like to run or speed walk or even jog to place.... i'm more like... they can wait for me :cursing:

So... I'm hoping in a week or so..that I will hit 3k mark at 35min :blush::cursing:

i have had problem's fitting into the seats in movie theatres, hairdresser chair's, etc. Guess what. I fit. I'm so excited. My weight loss has stalled the last few weeks, but I think the inches are still flying off. I keep noticing my clothes getting looser and looser. it feels really good.

My next NSV goal is to not only fit into the hairdresser's chair, but to also be able to close those jacket cover up's they give you. It doesn't protect your clothes if it won't close.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
