jessiedavis 0 Posted January 8, 2008 My video is second from the left. Surgg.com / Search results for lapband surgery Do you think the doctor did a good job? Jessie
marieze 5 Posted January 8, 2008 Jessie, help me out.....I see a bunch of boxes with different people....is that what we're supposed to be looking at? Marieze
jessiedavis 0 Posted January 9, 2008 You are looking at the right stuff. It is the second box from the left.
faithmd 14 Posted January 9, 2008 But how would we know if he did a "good job" if we aren't qualified FACS surgeons who are also members of the ASBS or more specifically, if we aren't a bariatric surgeon? I haven't clicked on it yet (I'm assuming you mean the TOP row, 2nd from the left?), but am guessing it's a video of your surgery?
greeneyez 3 Posted January 9, 2008 Thanks for posting the link, it was interesting to see how it is done. As for doing a good job, I don't know, I'm not an expert.
ethansgrandma 0 Posted January 9, 2008 Wow! This was really cool. All we have seen is pics and this really helped to see why we hurt and why we get full so fast. Thanks for posting this.
Pizzaman 0 Posted January 9, 2008 Thanks for posting that. It looks as though your doctor knew exactly what he was doing.

jessiedavis 0 Posted January 14, 2008 Starting to feel better after the weekend. Anybody else have experiences on recovery time. How long did it take to get back to normal?
SassySuzi 0 Posted January 14, 2008 I'm one of the lucky ones....surgery on the 8th and back to work on the 11th. I have had no pain or any other side effects from the surgery. No gas pain, even my stomach doesn't hurt. I have no problem drinking the clear fluids, I don't crave anything. I still can't believe it and waiting for the pain to sneak up on me! jessiedavis 0 Posted January 16, 2008 that is real quick. did you do anything special to recover so fast?
SassySuzi 0 Posted January 16, 2008 I've just always been very lucky on the healing side of life and I have a very low threshold for pain. I just did or didn't do everything they told me too. I give a lot of credit to the Dr as I have very little black and blue, which means they took care when they were inside.
