BobbiG 0 Posted January 14, 2008 I'm doing treadmill and eliptical walker. In April our community pool will open and I'll be Water walking. I too sweat profusely...especially my head. I tie on a head band and just go for it, even if it does look a little dorky. I too hate exercise, but I am having good luck programming my mind to think that the treadmill is my best friend. Good luck!
CW_Lady 0 Posted January 21, 2008 I'm allergic to exercise. I get short of breath, get flushed and break out into a sweat. Oh wait...I guess that is supposed to happen when make your body to workout. I have my surgery this week. I plan on starting to walk every day as soon as i can (I have a dog that is beginning to jiggle). If it's too cold my brother told me to come to his house and use his treadmill. Between my two brothers and my parents, I have access to a treadmill, recumbent bike, and Bowflexes. I'd like to eventually join the local YMCA for the pool (and possibly access to their various programs and trainers). I know I have to change my attitude on exercising and sweat (a babysitter I had when I was little told me "ladies don't sweat, horses sweat"; I guess I wanted to be a lady instead of a horse - lol).
