Good morning. I am looking forward to this weekend, not only do I meet up with Tracy and Suzie, but I am off work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Will someone text me about Kat? I am going to be at work til about 9 tonight, and have no internet access.

I hope this finds Laura feeling better, and Kat getting fixed. Everyone else hang in there!!!!!

Off to work I go just two and a half days to go.

I'm pretty sure I got ahold of everyone through text. But if I missed anyone, Kat just finished her swallow test and they found she has a prolapsed band. She was on her way to the hospital to go right to surgery to have it repaired. Keep her in your prayers...

Got a text message from Haydee. She is still without power at home. She's at work, but they have no internet and are running on generators. She said to pray for her that she gets power at home soon. And she misses us.

Woot! Another NSV this evening!

I went to the Y w/DD & DH... they were going to play racquetball & I figured I'd do the treadmill or the weights... but as I was walking in I saw the schedule of aerobics classes and starting @ 6 was a "Zumba" class!... I'd seen a piece on it on the "Today" show about a year ago... latin-dance inspired exercise... so I thought I'd "give it a whirl!" (my motto!)!

All I can say is "Whoo!" It kicked my butt -- but in a fun way! All that latin music made me crave a 'rita after!! ha ha! I was soaked w/sweat -- seriously, my hair looked like I just got out of the shower! DD was incredulous, because it is known far & wide that "Momma doesn't like to sweat!"

This is all part of my new resolve to try new exercises & GMIAG!! I am proud of myself that I was spontaneous and tried something new!! I will definitely go back if/when my schedule allows (it is *very* rare that I can do something like that in the evening, but because ds was sick & dd amazingly didn't have an activity, I was able to tonight!)

Going to go log in on bodybugg & see how many steps & cals it was!!

Group Hug!!

((Laura, TracyK, TracyKS, Kat!, Jenn, Pam, Lunasa, Suzie, Janie, Judy, Haydee, Terri, & Me!!))

I did it! I am so proud of myself. I have been putting it off ALL YEAR since we joined the Y in January. I went to the Health & Fitness Center & got all oriented (that's what they think, anyway... I'm not so sure about how much I'll remember about all those weight machines when I go back to do that on Thursday... hardy har har!!)... + I did 25 mins on the treadmill... My arms are all wibble-dee wobble-dee!!

AND... I re-activated my Bodybugg subscription... so am now back to tracking my food + it tracks my activities... so... I'm on the yellow brick road of fitness!! Now just have to follow it & not veer off into the woods!!

Yes, Jenn... my Y has that Fitlinx or whatever you typed... too cool!

TX girls... I second what... someone... Kat?... wrote earlier... about if you all need anything, please let us know!! I would be happy to make a donation to a generator fund or whatever will be needed... I like knowing that my charitable contributions are actually going where they're supposed to... so if I can bypass the middle-man & donate directly to you all... or send you needed supplies... please don't hesitate to let us know!!!

Off to try to get at least a LITTLE work done today... all I've done all day is workout & stuff for ME!! How NOT like me!! I might get used to this!!

Great Job!!!!!! I need to use you as my inspiration! I almost forgot I have a bodybug also - that is a great idea. I need to get on my bike and ride! (First thing - I need to pump-up the tires!)

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
