Allergic to moi? Sure it wasn't the coke?!

I braved the scale last night after I unpacked. 226lb. Where that may look like I didn't move (which would still be exciting), I had bounced back to 230lb last week, slowly moved back to 228lb, and so hitting back at 226lb makes me content.

Glad I skipped the pina coladas on the riverwalk, sounds like it made a doozy!! I am surprised the chunk of fudge I had yesterday didn't send me up at least 1lb.

I am finally caught up with all customers but 1.. and I just gotta find his phone number.. whew. Next stop classes. I am so tired, I want to hybernate for a while!!

OK...I just changed my flight for next weekend to go to Phoenix from Ontario, which is a 1.5-2hour drive...ON MEMORIAL WEEKEND. UH, NO THANKS. So, to change to fly out of Palm Springs (which when I booked cost $550 and Ontario was only $120, which is why I changed). Now...I just paid an additional $579.96 on top of the $120 so I can go to Phoenix for 3 days!!! What the hell was I thinking. I am sooooo tired from Texas (wondering if Gruene misses us) that it was worth it to fly from PS...OMG, what an idiot I am.

If you JUST booked it, you may be able to get a refund. Call the airline real quick.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
