GOOD MORNING!!!!!!!!!!

When I woke up this morning I kind of have this ritual..... I feel my belly to see if its flatter and feel for my rib bones and then for my port....

Today I FELT thinner so I was disappointed when the scale didn't show a loss........ but for grins I tried on the NSV size 10 stretch jeans that 4 weeks ago I couldn't pull together enough to button..........

today..... they buttoned and zipped! I put the full set of before and nows up on the thread but here is your own personal version.

Laura - I hope you feel better, you haveto get rid of it before you come to NY to freeze you butt off.!!! LOL

well, my closet is officially empty - my 3 new jeans and a couple of tops and my old/new dress. I'm going shopping to get some new clothes for my new job tomorrow. Nope they have not called yet, they are torturing me LOL

I should have my tax money by the 15th, yipee, going to pay a couple of bills, and buy my plane ticket. I'm nervous about telling new job i need 3 days off. Hope it will be ok. I'll bring my laptop and phone if i have to, i'm gone!

well...I think i have a stomach bug, and I'll leave it at that, but omg i feel horrible... my good friend had it last week, i told her to keep it to herself but don't think that worked. Not changing my ticker but 200.5 this am... motivation to stick to the rules this weekend!

Laura---send DH back to the store for the Childrens form of Musinex. It comes in little pouches of crystals you simply pour on your tongue, and they dissolve--they come in grape or bubble gum I think--not bad tasting, do not stick in your stoma--and they helped me! Feel better soon!!!

OK off to look at the trailer I think. Made Rick sausage & eggs, and stupid me tried to eat a biscuit.....I feel miserably full, and want a drink really bad and I know better, so I am off to hit the elliptical and hope it moves it on through!!!

TTYL~~

Tracyks is amazing..

Michelle, the storm is hitting here too... kids are home which is kind of nice because I don't have to bring ds to work with me, but omg... them alone is generally ok, me in the mix.. YUCK... want some cheese with that wine?

DS was just hyperventelating because I was trying to lay down before work and dd would not let him go make his bed.

my stomach is getting worse by the minute - tonight is going to suck

Hi, my name is Judy and I'm a exercise equipment-holic.

I just ordered two new things.... the Tony Little Rock 'n Roll Stepper https://www.rocknrollstepper.com/spark/index.php?ai=12

and a nifty little elliptical from QVC. Product Detail - Stamina 55-1610 InMotion E1000 Elliptical Trainer

I'm loving my trampoline. I don't ever sit down in the living room anymore. I'm constantly on it. Now when these two things come in, I'll have my own little circuit training in front of the tv! Somebody make me stop!!!

Judy, stupid question alert???? What exactly do you do on the trampoline? I mean, I know you bounce, but is that it. Just jump up and down, or do you have/ watch, etc a routine? I would love that to do when I watch All My Children everyday. Please 'splain Lucy, uh...I mean Judy!

Basically I jog, do twists and jumping jacks. Not all at the same time though! It's just a nice cardio workout and I can feel it in my muscles so it must be working!

Thanks, do you buy these at Big 5 kind of stores? Any athletic store? I think I'll get one and get another cardio workout during my soaps! I wish LBT burned calories:rolleyes:

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
