Hmmm, maybe the "rep power" means how many hours we've been logged onto LBT. O.K., I admit it, I'm a LBT addict and I'm on here way too much! I hope it's not rating, because we're each going to have different ideas about different things.

Okay, I am imagining Alex B. in a dark office somewhere with papers stacked around him sitting at the computer wringing his hands and laughing maniacally at our posts, wondering when we will figure this out. Hahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!! Isn't this creepy fun?!

Now I have 13 reputation points and my reputation on this post is Even...wha??? Does that mean I have an even number of agrees and disagrees? Hey! Who diasagrees with me! I am so intrigued, I can't wait to find out what's up so I can start ignoring it. Ha!

Hey Kyleigh, did you get what I wrote in your comment?

The big red "Y" means that person has Yahoo Instant Message. If you click on the "Y" you can send them an instant message if you also have it. Mine shows a little yellow running person, which means I have AIM Instant Message. Just click on the yellow man to talk with me.

I'm a Libra, so I like the scales in the top right corner, but everyone has scales. Are we all Libras? Odd.

Cool, okay Donali wrote a comment and I got it (thank you!) and my rep went up to 14 and now, instead of "Even", I am "Somewhat Positive". This is so crazy fun.

Thanks Vera found the comments. Too bizarre. Wonder what this will accomplish, other than some fun competition between some of our egos. OR should I say alter egos. LOL!!!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
