Just in the research phase.Curious to know if anyone out there knows if it's possible to have the Lapband procedure AND have fibroids removed all at one time? I have extremely large fibroids and my Doc has suggested that I have them removed, so ideally, I'd like to take care of it within one trip. nip50 2 Posted January 6, 2008 I also don't know about fibroids, but I personally had 3 hernias repaired. Instead of the usual 5 small incisions, I have 10. Its quite common to have multiple surgeries at one time. In the past, I had a hysterectomy, a bladder repair, and a hernia repair all during the same surgery.
