:)I'm new to the site and am having surgery end of January/first of February. Just starting my journey to getting my life back. Is anyone else just beginning? Waiting to hear from you.

Hello Trod, that is very exciting!!! I hope to know something this coming Friday I have an appointment with the surgeon (1st.) I hope to make Jan. or Feb. Please keep me updated *sigh* hope I will be right behind you.

I'm "just beginning", also...

I will hopefully find out my surgery date this week...probably sometime in February!!

This is my very first posting ever! I just had my surgery on Jan 11, 2008 so I am still in the recovery stages. I'm on Clear Liquids and have been surprised at how very weak I have been feeling, just no energy at all. I'm really looking forward to the creamy liquids diet!

I have signed up for the mandatory info session on 2/19 then i can make the appt with the DR. then the nutrition class & the psychological consultation as well as the pre-op tests so hopefully i'll be banded in march I have already checked with my insurance co & it's covered 100% I can't wait to get healthy!
