I did this too & it DOES work. It's easy too.

There's no need for this any longer, it should work with any browser.

Alex, I have tried everything I know and I still can't get into the chat room. I was Banded on Nov. 4 and have not been able to get on the chat at all from the time of my surgery until now. I need the chat room for assistance. Is there anything you can do to help me.

Sandy,

What error are you receiving ? You need to have flash enabled and installed on your browser. Go to animation software, multimedia software | Adobe Flash CS4 Professional to install it if you don't have it already.

Hi Alex

We have a request for you! Can you add in the chat room under the sounds one that says --- yeah! or Great Job! -- the scream doesn't seem right - thanks!! Also they wanted to know if when the emotions come up - is there a way to have them come up more to the right so if you are typing to someone - you can still see what they are saying and enjoy the emotion picture?

Thanks again - it looks great!

Robinmarie

That giant picture that covers the screen is very annoying.

The picture is cute, but when you're in the middle of saying something, it covers the entire screen and you have to wait for it to disappear.

I fixed your problem....

The Firewall on your cable modem router was blocking port 51127 and 51128.

Hi Alex. I cannot get in chat either. I upgraded my Java and Adobe Flashplayer - I get the same error message as the others. I am trying to access through work - I think it may be a firewall?

Your office firewall is probably blocking port 51127 and 51128. We're looking into ways of getting around this.

There's no need for anybody to install or upgrade to Java any longer, our new solution only uses Flash on the front end.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
