livelovelaugh 1 Posted January 5, 2008 I'm getting my first fill on Wednesday and the talk on this website of PBing has me a little freaked out. What exactly happens when you PB? I have lunch with my co-workers daily and not one of them know I had this surgery. Does PBing mean I am going to randomly vomit during a meal? The thought of the pending embarrassment is horrifying me!
blahblahblah 4 Posted January 5, 2008 I'm 6 months out (almost) and I have not yet PB'd...I have gotten stuck and had to go to the bathroom because I thought I might vomit, but it's never actually come out. My husband has also been banded and he has had to make a mad dash to the bathroom a few times.... I think if you follow the lap band rules and take small pieces and chew chew chew, you should be ok...Also, listening to your body and stopping when you feel satisfied is important as well.
