Ladies......I need help with the girls!

*sigh* I wish I could buy clothes at Lane Bryant. They seem to primarily run on the principle that wider always equals taller or bigger all over, though. Even at my heaviest, I had a very hard time finding clothes that looked halfway decent on me there. Even their petites were generally too long.

I have the same problem. If I buy pants from there, I have to get petite. It's funny because when I was thin, I never had to buy petite. Hopefully after losing all this weight, I won't have to buy petite anymore.

WAAAYYYY off topic, but Moultrie caught my eye. My first serious romance was a guy from Moultrie. Ok, done threadjacking...:D

Interesting............you know, Moultrie isn't all that big.....it's possible I might know him.

Where are you from?

I'm just north of Seattle WA. His name was Herb Sellers, but he moved to this area like 40 years ago.(If I remember from your profile, that was way before you were even born!) When we dated in the 80's he was in his 40s. He was an "older-man" fling that turned serious. He had family that stayed in Moultrie, a daughter named Debra and I think some of the family are still in the area.

Oh, I checked and the bra I like the best is a Playtex Secrets, and while I think I got it as Wal-mart, I'm not sure. It's an underwire, but really comfortable and it's one of the few I've found where the middle lays flat against my breast bone like they say it's supposed to. (I'm a 44DDD).

Darn, I was hoping it was someone I know! LOL

Thanks for the bra info. I'm going back to Walmart this weekend to get some more, so I'll check that one out. The Curvation bra that I bought the other day lays flat against my breastbone too. Every other bra I've ever bought sticks out, so it's great to have one that actually fits properly.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
