Chilly 0 Posted January 2, 2008 HI! I am a 36 yr. old mother of 2 from New York State. My lap-band doctor is Dr. Forbes from Buffalo General Hosp. I am just starting the journey like most of you. georgia girl 35 Posted January 2, 2008 Hi Chilly! Welcome to LBT! I was banded 9-20-07 and I haven't had any problems yet. I'm still fairly new but I will answer any questions that I can. My husband really doesn't understand why I need this site, but he really doesn't understand what I'm going through. It's so good to talk with people who are going through the same things. Don't get me wrong, he is very supportive, but it is a different kind of support that I get from this site. Do you have any idea when you will be getting banded or starting a pre-op diet? RAINWI 4 Posted January 4, 2008 Chilly, Im also from Buffalo and just turned in my paper work with Dr Forbes. I would love to ask you a few questions if you don't mind.
