Hey Dashley, we are just about neighbors, I live here in the northern part of central oregon also. I go to Dr. Kellyfitzpatrick. Who do you go to? I really don't mind the drive. Living in a small town you get used to driving. Have a great night.

Hi Dashley, I love Dr. Fitzpatrick. she has alot of good and helpfull info. She is not just there to give you what you want. She really cares about you, your band, and your health. I really like her. So, what size of band do you have? I think mine is a 6cc and it wasn't until my second fill that I really felt any restriction. It was also after my second fill did I understand why she will not do it during that time of month(PMS). Since my second fill I am so tight that time of month I can barely eat for 2-3 days. Well anyways I live here in Jefferson county between culver and w.s.. And good luck with your fill! let me know how it goes.:tt1:

Hey Dashley, Great weightloss! I really like dr. fitzpatrick. She is very homiopathic and earthy, but she really knows what she is doing! If you have any questions or anything you can e-mail me also! I am going on 7 mons since I've been banded and it has been great.

Fill Management NW is starting to travel. They currently go to Port Orchard every other month. They are starting to go to McCleary (near Olympia) soon and are scheduled to go to Spokane in March.

Go to www.northwestfills.com to email them.

Email them if you want them to come to your area. Enough interest and they may come to you too!

I think it is March 15th. That is a Friday. They will spend the night in case you are too tight. I think the plan is once a month or every other month if the need is big enough.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
