mia31771 0 Posted December 30, 2007 Hi, Im 29 from south georgia and go Monday for my pre-op assessment. I am self pay since my insurance company would rather pay for heart surgery and obesity complications rather than aid me in becoming healthier. I just lost my mother a month ago to a heart attack and with my family history I have made the decision to use my inheritance money to start my journey to a healthier lifestyle. My surgeon is Dr. Bagnato in Albany, GA. I am absolutely terrified but I am missing out on so much in life because of my weight and I want to be around to marry my fiance and watch my 7 yr old daughter grow up. I'm anxious and excited all at the same time. My current weight is 375 so I am eager to see the lbs come off slowly but surely. kirajh 0 Posted December 30, 2007 Good luck with your surgery. Have you considered going to Mexico to have the surgery there. They don't make you jump thru all the hoops they make you do here and it is a whole lot (I mean a lot) cheaper. And they are great and have a lot more experience.
