Half Marathon.

692718487505_0_ALB.jpg
Well its been nine months since surgery and long nights of running and I am finally ready for the PF Chang's Rock and Roll Marathon. I am running the half marathon 13 miles. I have been religiously training, running about 20 miles a week. I highly suggest the nike-plus I pod training program. It helps motivate and chart your progress. I should finish in 2 hours time, at a pace of 9-9.5 minutes a mile. All in all things are going good. My wife and I bought a brand new boat and have become avid wake boarders. Probably one of the most intense work outs there is.

AZ Pete, I want to run a half this year (at least one!) What is the Nike ipod trainer??? How does it motivate you? Please tell me more if you can. I'm at a stage where I need help. I've trained myself to the point where I can run up to 6-7 miles, but am more comfortable with 5. My average was 10 min/mile, but lately I am SLOWING down to 11/mile. I think I am in a holiday slump.

During the summer I am an avid skiier...got up on a wakeboard last summer for about 15 seconds. I'll try again!

Please share any helpful hints you've got!!!
